It is 1920’s Britain. A group of young bored socialites challenge each other to a late night car race to Land’s End. One of the couples find themselves stranded after they run out of fuel. They seek refuge in a mansion but are warned away by the Rawlings, the gardener.They ignore the gardener’s advice and end up in the company of Dr. Lawrence, a former clergyman. It is not long before the secret Dr. Lawrence is keeping wreaks mayhem in the old mansion.
