The comedy actor – known to television viewers as Mr Humphries in the BBC sitcom Are You Being Served? – was in full pantomime dame costume when Eamonn surprised him at the Wimbledon Theatre.
At the This Is Your Life studios John is greeted by the rest of the cast from the comedy, along with writers Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft.
