Less than a month after his guest appearance on Peter Barkworth’s tribute, Ian – currently enjoying success as television’s Simon Templer – was himself handed the big red book by Eamonn. A mock roadblock, and a dramatic encounter between two cars – reminiscent of a scene from his hit series, The Saint – was the set up used.
