The popular Irish singer – whose music is a mix of country and Irish folk – was
surprised by Michael at the curtain call of Bruce Forsyth’s television show Tonight at
the London Palladium. Among those paying tribute and highlighting Daniel’s charity work back at the BBC Television Centre are singers Cliff Richard and Loretta Lynn.
