Dave Finn is blissfully trying to preserve a cockney oasis in a genteel neighbourhood, much to the annoyance of his new next-door neighbours Roger and Amanda Scott.

A very entertaining and well-written programme, Chalk And Cheese featured superb comic performances from Michael Crawford and Robin Hawdon, as Dave and Roger (respectively). Crawford’s monologues were a highlight of the show, rambling about his experience of, and take on, various subjects and situations.
